Exactly what it says it is. All the hallmarks of Ridgeback’s design including the all important ridge, relief cuts at each end of the rail, and relief cuts at the side pocket just to name a few – but on a rail set designed as a drop-in standard replacement for your table preserving the factory pocket dimensions.

League
League Edition rails use thicker wood than the Standard edition to give the cushion block strength, dimensional stability, and mass – just like on the Professional edition. This extra thickness places the cushion nose further into the playfield which has the beneficial effect of deepening the slate shelf (but will compromise the table’s 2:1 playfield ratio). This thicker wood results in a more challenging pocket opening than the Standard rail, but a more forgiving pocket than our Professional Edition rails. This makes these the ideal rails for more casual and league environments!

Professional
For the billiards enthusiast, we created Ridgebackrails Professional Edition. Providing the pocket geometry and challenging practice setting that advanced players are seeking. With a thicker cushion block, this wood adds strength, dimensional stability, and mass to the cushion block (but will compromise the table’s 2:1 playfield ratio). This extra thickness places the cushion nose further into the playfield which has the beneficial effect of deepening the slate shelf. The pocket opening angles, pocket jaw, and pocket throat simulate those of a pro table.
